I think it works both ways. Positive attitudes, ideas, faith, reinforcements etc will makes you think, believe or feel you can do it, you can be it or the the situation is as what you perceived. Even though sometimes, deep down inside we already know or have an inkling.
It does has it's place in maybe making things happen, hopefully in positive ways. However, at the end, you can keep perceiving one thing and the fact remains otherwise. A prime example is when people used to believe the Sun moves around the Earth when in fact it's the opposite. It all depends on how strongly the perception is to see reality, to question, to wake up and re-analyse the situation with known facts. However, more importantly is, does one really wants clarity of reality?
Truth hurts, so do lies and delusions. Depending on circumstances and individuals, maybe best to remain status quo or face reality?

 7月7日 fireflytomoonTime trickles away and it’s never coming back. Life is short. Yes sulk but one got to move on as there is no point dwelling in the past when nothing could change what has happened. Be strong and come out from your own shadows. From your own past, it’s understandable to generalise, lose your own and question other's faith and take whatever you hear with a grain of salt. But like any statistics, there are those that were excluded from the sampling so give them the chance to be the exceptions and more importantly , give yourself the chance. Deep down inside your flame is still there, even though it’s flickering and wavering...
Live life with as little regrets as possible, try the possibilities, at least in the end you know than to ever wonder. |
